RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME FOR THE ELDERLY

Nowadays, in the middle of the globalization and internationalization of the economy, society needs more institutions with technology and knowledge than institutions with decision making skills.

Casa Israel came about as an institution which wanted to be number one in the care of the elderly. With this goal in mind, we opened doors for operation in August 1997, and thanks to much effort and dedication, we have achieved the goal.

We are located in Taras, Cartago, our patients live permanently in the facilities. We count on professional nurses, geriatric practitioners, and administrative staff, as well as on assistants.

Ever since we opened doors, our operations have fulfilled all the requirements and norms established by law and we have always had the corresponding Municipality and Ministry of Health permits. We also have the Ministry of Health Authorization, which places us among the only private institutions in the country to have such Authorization.

Our marketing efforts and business strategies have worked, so we have moved from strategic planning to taking action. Our strategy is based on information provided by the market, clients, and others about the evolution of our business and the changing world economy because that is where results lie. This has given us an advantage over our competition and thus given us the privilege of being one of the largest and best residential care homes for the elderly in the country.

Our mission is well defined and clear.  Our values constitute our reason to be and our way of working. Thanks to these, we have received several acknowledgments and demonstrations of gratitude from the relatives of those residents who are now with God.

What we want, among other things, is to provide a high quality of life to our elderly people. It is our conviction that we have a social responsibility to work with this growing part of the population, a responsibility which consists of meeting every one of their needs and making them feel important, valuable and part of a new family.

Aware that the future brings challenges, Casa Israel has assumed responsibility for its own development and location, thus being its own agent for change. For this reason, we carry out constant, organized improvement. We do so because our vision is to widen our horizons and therefore create a more organized culture above and beyond our expectations and limitations.

As a serious and responsible organization, we are applying knowledge to properly carry out our duty in the present and better yet to shape the future.  That is why we want to be one step ahead and make it happen.
